
Similarly, are clouds created strictly for utilitarian purposes or for our aesthetic enjoyment? Because I saw some clouds on the way to work today that looked like they were right out of the Impressionist movement.

I would say both since we need the rain and the shade they give, especially if you are in the desert (do you follow?); however, when i was a child I would look up at the cloud and say oh look a teddy bear, or a dragon and look the dragon is going to burn down the house of the midget with the rather large head. Then my dad would say, "Son you are old enough to know that you are crazy. Those are just clouds or visible masses of condensed water droplets or ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere above Earth's surface. Thus, sufficiently ending my imagination and childhood.
