Bambo

I understand that there is tradition in hunting. And if the hunters end up eating their kill, I've never really had a problem with it. But, it just occurred to me. All hunters predominantly hunt for fun, right? Do people really get joy out of shooting a deer in the heart with a shotgun? That's pretty sadistic.

how do you feel about fish? people fish for fun, and sometimes throw the fish back (dead sometimes), but fish arent as cute as bambi, so we dont care

sabia, I think we should talk about gun control also. and how people can really believe that guns save lives.

"Most" fisherman don't destroy fish for fun. They catch and release for fun, or catch to eat. For example, I will kill a spider if it's in my house and not feel bad. But, I do not pack up my truck with my friends, dress up in webs, and go spider hunting with the goal of destroying spiders. Because that would be weird.

hunting happens in seasons for control of a population that no longer fits in the areas that we give them to stay. this is much like what we did to the indians/native americans.
