Continual Wedding Album

Wedding days are hectic. Photo shoots seem to get squeezed in, and it's hard to get all of the fun shots you'd like.

That's why my wife and I took a post-wedding shoot a full two years after our wedding. We were able to go to an arboretum, relax, play in the leaves, and we love the shots we got.The only problem is, one day my kids might ask why I have more stomach and less hair in those wedding pictures.

But, it got me thinking.

What about a continual wedding album? You bring your wedding dress, or a cheapy replacement, with you on every major trip you take with your spouse. 20 years later, you'll have an amazing album of wedding photos from around the world.

Why can't you just have an amazing album of 20 years of you and your wife having a great time together?

Maybe when I'm married I'll know how your mind thinks.

you don't think there's something profound about the idea of a continual wedding, captured in photos?

I just think in terms of artistry, it'd be beautiful

But you paid a trained and artistic photographer to take those shots 2 years later. Are you going to pay a good photographer to accompany you to Paris so you get the same great shots....besides it's fun to have ridiculous point and shoot camera shots of you and your other half having a great time together - I agree with tripj

I not too worried about having to actually give that....just for the record :)

we would definitely hire a photographer at the destination for an hour instead of pay for one to accompany us on the trip... really wouldn't be that big of a deal, and we could still take the random shots of ourselves if we'd like, although we're never that good at taking pictures when we go places.
ooh, now I want to take a dip in the pacific in my wedding dress...
