Not a Techno-Rant

I learned of my friend's divorce on Facebook. I'm not sure what to make of that yet.

I had a similar experience. If by similar I mean exactly the same but probably somebody different.

What I've found even weirder is learning about friends I've lost touch with whose pictures indicate the presence of offspring, but not necessarily a significant other.

I discovered two divorces via Facebook.

And my sister told me she was engaged in a TEXT MESSAGE.

Kids these days.

i think the divorce one ups the engagement, heidi. simply because you want to spread good news quickly. but a divorce?

So, was it in a status message, like, "I'm divorced," or did they just change their relationship status and then everyone started commenting on it?

Neither is better than the other I'm merely curious.

"Jesse is no longer married (heart symbol)"

no one commented, because giving e-solace would be even weirder.

I'm just saying if you are related you should get a phone call...Emily I can't believe your sister texted you!

that's a good point heidi. did you get a call eventually? or did you facebook congratulate her, stopping her in her tracks?

oooo that would have been a good idea.....I got a call....after I left 2 voicemails... maybe this means they don't like me, haha
