Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf have an 8-year old son and a 6-year old daughter. Graf, is arguably, the greatest women's tennis player of all time. Agassi is easily in the top 5 for men.
Roger Federer and his wife Mirka recently had twin girls as well. Federer, is arguably the greatest men's tennis player of all time. Mirka also played tennis at the professional level until an injury ended her career.
How cool would it be if these children were the next generation of great rivals? And before you say it's ridiculous, remember that the current top two women's tennis players in the world just happen to be sisters.
Also, what other sports could you see this super-genetic mating happen in? And 100 pts. if you think through why this could never happen in basketball.
This is not a life update. This is a place where people are free to think.

ok why not basketball? Jordan, Kobe, and Lebron are all >99 percentile in height and vertical leap, two traits that are heavily reliant on genetics. Don't tell me you wouldn't get a super-baller if you mix Jordan and Lisa Leslie genetics.
i'll give the rest of you until 5 to solve my riddle, and then i'll give you the answer. hint, you need to be a jerk to get this one.
the best women basketball players are lesbians
lol. that's a good one. mine's equally jerky. one hour to go.....
so what is your reason
the best male NBA player will never be attracted to the best female NBA player, and sadly, this supernatural mating will never occur.
That argument works with Agassi and Graf but Federer only married a pro-level female tennis player. So this could work with Candace Parker and Sheldon Williams. Candace is the best female WNBA player (possibly ever, we'll see) and Williams went to Duke and plays for Celtics. They also just had a baby.
On another note, I thought the answer to the riddle was that the WNBA doesn't count as a sport. In which case I would agree with your premise....
all 3 punchlines are funny to me.
