I can buy apples year round. I can buy apple juice year round.
Why can't I buy apple cider and affy tapples year round?
This is not a life update. This is a place where people are free to think.

You have the biggest sweet tooth I have ever seen.
I'm with you on the cider. I imagine southern hemisphere apples can be made into cider just the same.
Kat thinks cider is just apple juice w/ spices. shouldn't that be super easy?
and jason, it's because i'm so sweet.
Unlike apple juice, apple cider is fermented (that's why it's sort of carbonated) - not that they can't do that any other time of year though. It might just be that people are more willing to buy affy tapples (which I've never even heard of!) or cider this time of year because they are in the fall mood. Just how people start baking with pumpkin puree more in the fall even though canned pumpkin puree lasts all year round (actually several years!)
yeah, you're probably right. i think every year, i can't imagine ever getting sick of caramel apples (i'm currently averaging nearly 1 a day...it's fruit!), but i bet i will.
Take a visit to CostCo, you'll find both year-round
are you sure you're not just saying that because you've seen them there recently? because you're about to change my life, justin.
Good question, so I did some research. This Niles, IL based company also has a factory outlet center where affy tapples are 50% off. Might be worth a trip to Niles. Also, they claim their products are available at Jewel Food Stores. So in December, check your local Jewel and you should be good to go. Lucky for you it's an IL based company so distribution to the suburbs shouldn't be a big issue.
