...when many cities have already banned cell phone use while driving?
More specifically, at what level do city revenue prospects have to reach before ignoring the safety risks of these things? And if there is such a number, how much does Motorola have to pay off cities to stop these bans?

In our city limits, they are extremely limited, but still exist.
The "no texting" ban recently passed by the State, however, cracks me up. Of the approximately 400 cars I passed today, I think there were four which were *not* texting and driving. We could make up much needed state revenue by actually enforcing this law....though it will never happen.
