NYC vs. Chicago: Part One

Spent last weekend in downtown NY. My first time there and I absolutely loved it.

And while I claim to "live in Chicago", I'm really a suburban boy, so my actual downtown Chicago and lifestyle experiences are minimal. For those who have experienced both, which did you prefer and why?
