I find Nancy Pelosi just as repugnant as Sarah Palin. I am disgusted with both parties, and have therefore changed my affiliation to Independent. Which is probably also largely Caucasian. But not as embarrassing.
you hit on something HUGE there, Liz. I liked being thought of as a libertarian when Ron Paul was running for President in '08. But now that Glenn Beck calls himself a libertarian (he's not), I just don't want to be associated with that kind of guy, despite our overlapped beliefs in the role of government.
We all hate Congress, and we're all independents, because we're ashamed to be anything else.
Time to bring back the Whig party...
